NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There's new advice for older men who want to preserve their sexual function: have sex, and have it often, researchers say.
In a study that followed nearly 1,000 older Finnish men for five years, researchers found that those who were regularly having sex at the start of the study were at lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction (Buy Viagra) by the study's end.
In fact, the more often the men had sex, the lower their Buy Generic Viagra risk.
The implication, say the researchers, is that men should be encouraged to stay sexually active into their golden years.
Dr. Juha Koskimaki and colleagues at the University of Tampere in Finland report the findings in the American Journal of Medicine. The study included 989 men who were between the ages of 55 and 75 at the outset.
Overall, those who said they had sex less than once per week were twice as likely to develop ED over the next five years as men who had sex at least once a week. Furthermore, compared with men who had sex three or more times per week, their Order Viagra risk was increased nearly four-fold.
A number of factors contribute to ED development, many of which could also affect a man's sexually activity -- such as age, diabetes and heart disease. However, after taking account of those factors, sexual activity itself remained linked to Cheap Viagra risk, Koskimaki's team found.
It may be a matter of "use it or lose it," according to the researchers. Just as exercise boosts physical fitness, they note, regular sexual activity may help a man preserve his erectile function.
buy viagra online occurs when there are problems with blood flow to the penis. Regular sexual activity, Koskimaki's team writes, may help maintain healthy blood vessel function in the erectile tissue.

It’s mum’s birthday, so she came around for dinner with Andrew and Paul, and I cooked fish, saffron rice and green beans. I didn’t think it was all going to come together on time. I had a busy day, but left at half five and caught a train just after six. It should have given [...]

I feel like I’ve taken a two and a half year step back in time. I’m the reviews editor again, albeit in an acting capacity. It must be true - we’re tweaking the web site to say it’s so.
Jason, meanwhile, is off enjoying himself in the Lake District, free of the title and the responsibility [...]

Going to London at the weekend is one of my pet hates. I do it every day of the week, so doing it again on a Saturday is much too much like going to work. Today, though, St Patrick’s Day, is Will’s birthday, and I promised I’d go along to the pub last night to [...]

Last night was Jason’s leaving party. He’d picked to have it at Revolution. which is becoming something of a regular PCW haunt. I missed it because of the show, but by all accounts it was a good night out, and there were some decidedly delicate heads in the office this morning.
I’ll be handling the reviews [...]

According to those who stayed later at the Xbox launch yesterday, it was a good evening, if a little underwhelming when the first Xbox was actually sold. They apparently pulled up the big curtain that had been sectioning off most of the Megastore at midnight to let in a crowd of … 10 people.
That still [...]

This is the week of parties. Last night it was Macromedia, tomorrow it is Jason’s leaving do (and the show). Tonight it’s the launch of the Xbox at the Virgin Megastore on Oxford Street. It’s leading to a whole series of car dilemmas over where to park it or even whether to drive at all. [...]

Roger Gann, the self-styled ‘nice man of IT’, was in Berlin last week. This morning he sent me a picture.
Today was a day of meetings. The first, over in west London, was particularly enjoyable as Rachel, who now edits MacFormat, but with whom I used to work when I first joined PCW, was also there. [...]

I received an email today that brought back a lot of memories. It was from a guy who runs a site about theme park nostalgia, and he wanted a few words on what it was like to work for the radio station at Thorpe Park. So at lunch I sat down with my sandwich and [...]

More than anything yesterday morning I would have liked to sleep in. After two days away I could have done with some catching up. I’m moving my mortgage, though, to a different building society with a better deal, so I had to get up and drive over to Shenfield in time for a half-nine meeting. [...]

Well, I did manage to get out of bed at 3am on Thursday after all. I didn’t think I would, but I popped two herbal sleeping tablets on Wednesday night so slept well. I left before four, but even that, and a fair amount of speeding, didn’t give me enough time to get to check-in [...]
