NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There's new advice for older men who want to preserve their sexual function: have sex, and have it often, researchers say.
In a study that followed nearly 1,000 older Finnish men for five years, researchers found that those who were regularly having sex at the start of the study were at lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction (Buy Viagra) by the study's end.
In fact, the more often the men had sex, the lower their Buy Generic Viagra risk.
The implication, say the researchers, is that men should be encouraged to stay sexually active into their golden years.
Dr. Juha Koskimaki and colleagues at the University of Tampere in Finland report the findings in the American Journal of Medicine. The study included 989 men who were between the ages of 55 and 75 at the outset.
Overall, those who said they had sex less than once per week were twice as likely to develop ED over the next five years as men who had sex at least once a week. Furthermore, compared with men who had sex three or more times per week, their Order Viagra risk was increased nearly four-fold.
A number of factors contribute to ED development, many of which could also affect a man's sexually activity -- such as age, diabetes and heart disease. However, after taking account of those factors, sexual activity itself remained linked to Cheap Viagra risk, Koskimaki's team found.
It may be a matter of "use it or lose it," according to the researchers. Just as exercise boosts physical fitness, they note, regular sexual activity may help a man preserve his erectile function.
buy viagra online occurs when there are problems with blood flow to the penis. Regular sexual activity, Koskimaki's team writes, may help maintain healthy blood vessel function in the erectile tissue.

I am a German railways devotee after this morning’s ride on the ICE train. It is a truly fantastic experience. Entertainment at your seat - headphone sockets and a choice of six channels to listen to. Carriages devoted to showing films (Zoolander in this case), carriages with repeaters to make your mobile work better, and [...]

Last night was spent in a beer hall eating rather fatty food. Lots of beer, and lots of cream in sauces. Vegetarians well catered for, which is probably more to do with the PR people looking after us well than the place itself.
There was a fairly even split of who went out afterwards and who [...]

I was planning on going to Dachau this morning. It’s one of those places you spend your whole school career hearing about, but it always seems so remote and detached, and so being a short tram and bus ride away, it seemed a worthwhile trip.
Then again… tram andbus. That could mean waiting around for a [...]

Well, I’ve brought the wrong coat. Europe is freeying and the letters are in the wrong place on this kezboard. Z and Y seem to be interchanged. The bakslash is on the number seven, the colon is on the full stop (does that sound like a euphemism for constipation) and the @ szmbol is on [...]

14h01. Fresh out of the studio and ready for the off. A fun show, all things considered, topped off by a live performance in the studio by Chas Smash of Madness.
How often I’ll get to update this while I’m away, I don’t know, but there’s a Eurostar waiting and I need to be on it…

Plenty of blogs have been talking about George W and his stance on Iraq, but the best way to find out what’s going on must be to listen to him speak or, for those of us overseas, catch up on what he said with the transcripts on the White House web site. Here’s an enlightening [...]

The chocolate cycle has been broken. Emilie and I gave it up for seven days after a fortnight of pigging out, having our first nibble of the comfort drug in seven days yesterday morning. Today, back into the abstinence cycle, I neither miss nor crave it at all.
Perhaps it’s because between us we pigged out [...]

So, what were yesterday’s tube strikes all about then? There seem to be mixed messages - whether it’s about pay or safety or conditions. Time to do a bit of hunting around online.
The London Underground site seems to be the best place to start. It has a quote from Bob Crow, General Manager of one [...]

Tube strikes. Don’t you love them. I have walked miles today. Literally. It’s good for me, I guess, and comes at the end of a week of chocolate abstinence, so I’m feeling righteous. I ache terribly, though. Not just from the walking, but from overdoing it in the gym on Monday.
I’m blaming the smelly people [...]
