NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There's new advice for older men who want to preserve their sexual function: have sex, and have it often, researchers say.
In a study that followed nearly 1,000 older Finnish men for five years, researchers found that those who were regularly having sex at the start of the study were at lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction (Buy Viagra) by the study's end.
In fact, the more often the men had sex, the lower their Buy Generic Viagra risk.
The implication, say the researchers, is that men should be encouraged to stay sexually active into their golden years.
Dr. Juha Koskimaki and colleagues at the University of Tampere in Finland report the findings in the American Journal of Medicine. The study included 989 men who were between the ages of 55 and 75 at the outset.
Overall, those who said they had sex less than once per week were twice as likely to develop ED over the next five years as men who had sex at least once a week. Furthermore, compared with men who had sex three or more times per week, their Order Viagra risk was increased nearly four-fold.
A number of factors contribute to ED development, many of which could also affect a man's sexually activity -- such as age, diabetes and heart disease. However, after taking account of those factors, sexual activity itself remained linked to Cheap Viagra risk, Koskimaki's team found.
It may be a matter of "use it or lose it," according to the researchers. Just as exercise boosts physical fitness, they note, regular sexual activity may help a man preserve his erectile function.
buy viagra online occurs when there are problems with blood flow to the penis. Regular sexual activity, Koskimaki's team writes, may help maintain healthy blood vessel function in the erectile tissue.

Well, every so often something happens that goes down in industry lore and it’s the subject of ‘do you remember the time when…’ type gossip every now and then for the next few years. Today one such thing occured.
A couple of weeks ago I got invited on a trip to Venice to look at some [...]

A rather distracted weekend. The book writing hasn’t gone so well - I’ve managed to add an extra 4,500 words, but should have managed that in one day, not two.
I’ve watched an episode and a half of The Office, and episode and a half of Fawlty Towers, and two thirds of the Worst Britons thing [...]

Last February I kept all of the spam that came in to my personal mailbox and did a count up at the end of the week. 241 of them in all. In the time that has gone by since then I’ve convinced myself I’m getting more and morespam all the time, and so I did [...]

In an unbelievable story in the Sydney Morning Herald an American judge has ruled that
“Iraq provided material support to Osama bin Laden and his terrorist group al-Qaeda for the September 11, 2001, attack and is liable to pay $US104 million … in damages to two victims’ families.”
Whether it is true that Iraq did have a [...]

So, after some schedule shuffling, working ahead and careful thinking I spent the day out of the office, down in Farnham with Alex and the camera so I could take some pictures for a feature.
It was a fantastic day to be driving down there through the countryside. The traffic was light, for the most part, [...]

There are many, many exceptions, and some who need to remain neutral, but by and large most of us in the media seem to be fairly left of centre. Why else would the Guardian run a media supplement every Monday and maintain one of the best media sites anywhere?
So by nature we’re not, by and [...]

In the early hours of Monday morning, I do some blogging on the radio, in a regular slot on Through the Night on LBC. It’s good fun, but not nearly as easy as blogging online, where you don’t have to worry about spelling out URLs and hoping your audience manages to copy them down properly.
Of [...]

Hmmm… Blogging raises dilemmas. I’ve written an entry twice. Posted it twice. Then deleted it twice. You see, I was sent something today. Something that won’t be out for six weeks. It’s not something we’ll cover in the mag, but it is a closely guarded secret - a secret the whole world knows is [...]

Three day weekends go by so quickly. Last time I sat down here it was Saturday evening, after which I trotted off to the Rusing S&N with Trevor, Jon, Paul and a couple of Trevor’s friends. It was late licence night and very loud music, which conspired to have my ears ringing by the time [...]
