NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There's new advice for older men who want to preserve their sexual function: have sex, and have it often, researchers say.
In a study that followed nearly 1,000 older Finnish men for five years, researchers found that those who were regularly having sex at the start of the study were at lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction (Buy Viagra) by the study's end.
In fact, the more often the men had sex, the lower their Buy Generic Viagra risk.
The implication, say the researchers, is that men should be encouraged to stay sexually active into their golden years.
Dr. Juha Koskimaki and colleagues at the University of Tampere in Finland report the findings in the American Journal of Medicine. The study included 989 men who were between the ages of 55 and 75 at the outset.
Overall, those who said they had sex less than once per week were twice as likely to develop ED over the next five years as men who had sex at least once a week. Furthermore, compared with men who had sex three or more times per week, their Order Viagra risk was increased nearly four-fold.
A number of factors contribute to ED development, many of which could also affect a man's sexually activity -- such as age, diabetes and heart disease. However, after taking account of those factors, sexual activity itself remained linked to Cheap Viagra risk, Koskimaki's team found.
It may be a matter of "use it or lose it," according to the researchers. Just as exercise boosts physical fitness, they note, regular sexual activity may help a man preserve his erectile function.
buy viagra online occurs when there are problems with blood flow to the penis. Regular sexual activity, Koskimaki's team writes, may help maintain healthy blood vessel function in the erectile tissue.

I thought I was getting rather a lot of pages to read and sign off yesterday afternoon. It hadn’t struck me that it was the end of the production cycle and the September issue goes off to be printed today.
Should have guessed, really - I’ve only been doing it month in, month out for the [...]

I spent last night doing secret work for the government.
That’s a James Bond way of saying I did my tax return. It took far longer than I’d thought it would. The blurb on the back of the software box promised it would all be done in half an hour, which I thought was a bit [...]

Curry, this evening, with Ja and Mark and a couple of Ja’s friends to celebrate his birthday, which happens to be happening tomorrow. I certainly seem to be eating out a lot at the moment. Well, eating away from home is more accurate, I guess, as apart from the holiday I really don’t do all [...]

My plan was for today to be a serious writing day, but after a late night I woke up at some stupid time of mid-morning and flopped around checking email, showering and faffing around with clothes until lunchtime.
And then I skipped lunch.
My car was still trapped at the station after I took a taxi home [...]

If there’s only one book that can really be described as ‘eagerly awaited’, it’s Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Love him or hate him, the next Harry Potter book has been ‘eagerly awaited’ by kids (and adults) around the world for about two years and for a while it looked like it [...]

Kathryn is off on holiday, or so rumour would have it, so we took her to Porters to say goodbye - her, me, Mark and Maddy, later joined by David, Niall and someone whose name I’ve forgotten, but who introduced herself with a smile and a handshake and a ‘hello - I’m a fag hag’.
So, [...]

I was interviewed by Danny Bradbury about Blogging for a Canadian radio show today. Hopefully a copy of it should be up on the show’s site when it goes live, so I’ll listen in if I can. It was interesting being asked about my own blogging experinces, though, as usually I just get to recommend [...]

A very nice morning off work. Popped into Chrysalis to see LBC people I’ve not seen since presenting the last edition of London this Week just before Christmas. Six months now. How time flies.
Had the full guided tour treatment, though all the LBC, Heart and LBC News studios. What a difference to back in the [...]

It was sunny at half five this morning. I was awake, I was up, so I know. I decided that if I’m going to fit this book writing around all the other things that seem to have suddenly sprung up it’s going to have to be done before work.
So, between then and stepping onto a [...]
