A week so soon?

It’s a week since I last posted anything on here. The time has absolutely flown by. Work has been so busy I’ve been pretty much coming home, eating and going straight to be.
We’ve had pretty much constant snow since then. Not unbroken falls - just frequent showers that last perhaps 30 minutes, then rest for an hour before coming back. Nothing has really settled yet, apart from a light dusting at the weekend. The ground has been too wet for it to hang around much longer, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that changed today. It’s much colder this morning, and all the puddles are frozen, so there’s a better chance it’ll get a firm grip on the ground.
Dad sent his regular email from Buenos Aires. He’s also complaining that it’s turned a lot colder over there, although he is apparently still sleeping with his apartment windows wide open and a fan switched on. I think I’d quite enjoy that kind of cold.
Beyond that, little has happened. A vaguely interesting briefing last week at which we all got sent home with iPod shuffles. Not entirely gratuitously - the press pack was so big it was the most appropriate non-CD format in which to dish it out. I had no inclination of ever buying one, but now that I have one, I’m rather enjoying it. Of course, I’ve listened to the 100 or so tracks it contains so many times they’re starting to drive me mad now, but it’s a lot easier to whip out of your bag and listen to when you’re on a short trip than it is to dig out the full iPod and untangle the remote and earphones and then find the tracks you’re after. I’m actually quite sold on it. Hopefully it’ll be a reason to get back into a regular gym routine, which has been seriously lacking this last month. It’s at least a couple of weeks since I was last there, and it’s starting to give me a serious case of gym guilt.
In other news, I finally become a proper landlord tomorrow.
Very exciting.
