How much spam has Nik received today?From today’s Sydney Morning Herald:

Much as it hurts to write a positive story on the Kiwis, we must applaud New Zealand Telecom for at least telling its customers what it really thinks of them. Thin-skinned Auckland businessman James Storrie has lodged a complaint just because when he opened his mobile phone bill on Monday he discovered he had been slugged with a $NZ337.50 ($277) surcharge for “being an arrogant bastard”. We think it’s about time providers of essential services and their customers were able to communicate clearly. An investigation is under way as to how the new charge was added to his bill.

The first postmark I've received priced up in eurosGot rather excited this morning in a spoddy kind of way when I received my first piece of mail where the postage was priced up entirely in euros. Is the location tag ‘Paris Fr. Bonvin’ subliminal advertising for the French wine industry (’bon vin’)?

This morning’s breakfast show interview went exceptionally well. That’s normally a bad omen. Good trail, less good show, or disappointing trail, top show. Today, though, the show went well, too. Lots of very chatty, relaxed guests, who seemed to be having fun. We had a few activity guests, where we tried out services on the phone, and engineer Steve popped in to do web site of the week.
