More box packing. It is two months since we last moved office, so I suppose it’s only fair that we move again. It means we lose our view through the big windows, but I’ll be glad to get away from the air-con vent.

So, boxes filled we headed out to the Sea Gallery in Clerkenwell (no toilets, but they lie that you can use the ones in the bar across the road) and ate a very unwise canape combination. Prawns, tuna, chicken (by mistake), ham (skilfully avoided), quail’s eggs, blue cheese that was red (’because it is cold’), red stuff, and something made of olives and onions.

By the time they thought they ought to get around to doing some presentations and prize-giving we were all feeling thoroughly sick, in spite of the fact I was resolutely sticking to the orange juice so I could drive.

Of course, as soon as they started presenting the mobiles all started to ring, although I’m sure that wasn’t entirely coincidental.

It seems to be the season for PR-ing art things. I’ve got invites for two more in the next three weeks sitting on my desk. By this rate we’ll almost be cultured by the other end of autumn.
