NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - There's new advice for older men who want to preserve their sexual function: have sex, and have it often, researchers say. In a study that followed nearly 1,000 older Finnish men for five years, researchers found that those who were regularly having sex at the start of the study were at lower risk of developing erectile dysfunction (Buy Viagra) by the study's end. In fact, the more often the men had sex, the lower their Buy Generic Viagra risk. The implication, say the researchers, is that men should be encouraged to stay sexually active into their golden years. Dr. Juha Koskimaki and colleagues at the University of Tampere in Finland report the findings in the American Journal of Medicine. The study included 989 men who were between the ages of 55 and 75 at the outset. Overall, those who said they had sex less than once per week were twice as likely to develop ED over the next five years as men who had sex at least once a week. Furthermore, compared with men who had sex three or more times per week, their Order Viagra risk was increased nearly four-fold. A number of factors contribute to ED development, many of which could also affect a man's sexually activity -- such as age, diabetes and heart disease. However, after taking account of those factors, sexual activity itself remained linked to Cheap Viagra risk, Koskimaki's team found. It may be a matter of "use it or lose it," according to the researchers. Just as exercise boosts physical fitness, they note, regular sexual activity may help a man preserve his erectile function. buy viagra online occurs when there are problems with blood flow to the penis. Regular sexual activity, Koskimaki's team writes, may help maintain healthy blood vessel function in the erectile tissue. SOURCE: American Journal of Medicine, July 2008.

Chinese Moon Cakes

If I don’t get back to broadband civilisation soon I shall scream. Don’t get me wrong. I love cat sitting in the countryside with the badgers and the foxes when mum goes on holiday, but a Freeserve dial-up account doesn’t come close to matching my cable modem at home.

Mark found the most fantastic site this afternoon - Mondo Mini Shows, and in particular the gruesome Happy Tree Family animations on there, but viewing one here is a painful experience as it takes an age to load.

Ho-hum.

Susie brought Chinese moon cakes into the office today. They looked like pork pies and I’d never seen them before. One was made of red berries and had a whole egg in the middle. The others could have been anything.

Everyone who went before me played it safe and went for the nut cake but in a moment of uncharacteristic culinary bravery I opted for lotus. It was actually very good, and tasted of mild peanuts, which I usually hate. I had a bad peanut experience once. I can still remember what they looked like when they landed back on the long-pile carpet, and I’ve never been able to eat them since.

Popped into LBC at lunchtime to do some pre-records with superproducer-Sam who has done such a fine job of booking guests for London this Week on Sunday. I’m really looking forward to the show, and am quite excited about it now.

Had a nice email of congratulations from Simon Bates wishing me luck and offering a hand if needed.

I’m staying in tonight to blow my sniffy nose. The cold is still lurking.

Hello. New to this site and I must say its very good. Well done!

I got the link from your Thorpe Park Radio Page. I remember Thorpe Radio, a few years back though and it may even have been you I saw. I remember the big window and, was it yellow inside? It was really good. Is it still going now, or has it totally gone?

Hope you get back to a cable modem soon!!
