A full day of grey skies and drizzle. Moulsham Street was turning on its Christmas lights this evening and I had been tempted to go until I saw what it was like outside, so went to Sainsbury’s instead. It seems to have gone into Christmas hyperdrive already, even down to the level of Christmas spice scented toilet cleaner in festive red bottles.

I bought the bits to make a cheesecake to take around to Trevor and Jon’s, then came home to make it. So much for the ten-minute preparation time. Clearly whoever wrote the recipe card was working within some kind of time warp.

Spent most of the day working, editing reviews in the morning, and than a pcwexpert after lunch. That’s what comes of an office move - working at the weekend. I have the whole of Hands On to proof, too. That will have to wait until tomorrow.

Went around to Trevor and Jon’s at half ten, after Trevor had finished work, and sat around nibbling and nattering until dinner was ready. The cheesecake turned out OK, which was a relief as it was the first time I’d made it.

Trevor got out his spot-the-intro CD and we steadily worked our way through 300 songs until we realised how late it was and how tired we were.
