Christmas means many things to many people. Presents. Trees. Decorations… Errr… Goodwill to all men…
And thinly veiled bribery if you’re a journalist. Or at least attempts at bribery, which never work. The tally, so far, this year:
Half a dozen bottles of wine
Bucketloads of sweets and chocolates, which have since been shared around the office
A scanner
Two cut crystal champagne glasses
Three bottles of champagne
Truffles
A fast Ethernet switch (woo)
A bad polo shirt
Flashing Christmas hat (unlikely to be worn)
Tickets to an exhibition
Hamper (shared)
Still not up on last year, but a fair collection nonetheless.
