Hmmm… Blogging raises dilemmas. I’ve written an entry twice. Posted it twice. Then deleted it twice. You see, I was sent something today. Something that won’t be out for six weeks. It’s not something we’ll cover in the mag, but it is a closely guarded secret - a secret the whole world knows is on the way, and half the world is eager to get its hands on.

So, I wrote about it. On here. And I posted it. It didn’t talk about the specifics - merely its existence. Then I had second thoughts and took it down again. I rewrote it and reposted it, then thought it might not be wise to talk about.

Hmmm…

What to do? Just by having it in my posession I’m not technically doing anything wrong. I’m not the one who leaked it. And in six weeks it won’t matter any more, because it will be out in the public, and anyone can get their hands on it. For a price.

I think perhaps I’ll keep it to myself for the moment, and in six weeks, when nobody will know it didn’t arrive through regular channels, it will be safer to say what it was. I can pretend I got hold if it the same way as everyone else.

And indeed I will have done - I’ll have paid the asking price and bought one.
