Ooh, a nice day, topped off by a rebate from the tax man waiting on the doormat as I arrived home tonight. I could do with some more of them.
I also got my iPod back, having sent it off for repair less than a week ago. Considering it was dispatched to the land of windmills and mice on stairs that’s not bad service. Actually, no. Re: Tax rebate - lucky you! Last year we got close to $10k back from the federal and state tax folks but we miscalculated this year and owe nearly $4.5k which needs to be paid within 30 days
Re: iPod - I bought one last year with my tax rebate(!) and then lost it a few months later… and haven’t quite gotten around to replacing it (and unlikely to given the tax we owe this year!).
Re: speed-dating - whenever I’ve seen it on TV, folks have notepads and pens and take furious notes… looks far too stressful to me (and all my dates over the five years before I got married were found online… as was my wife!

if your warranty has not run out for your iPod, you should consider getting the Applecare package which extends your current warranty from 1 to 2 years, which is a pretty good deal i thought.
How did you live without your ipod!?:)
I almost died when i had to send mine for repairs. But I made my way to the Apple repair centre hence saving some money.
