I finally have a full show’s worth of guests for tomorrow night, so worked on some questions and then popped into ITN to drop off a minidisc with some emergency bits on it. I missed last week’s show, of course, being in Prague, so it was quite a shock to see the enormous election set had already completely disappeared. The canteen tables and comfy seating area aren’t back in place yet, so it’s still a trog up to the first floor balcony to sit down. LBC is looking a bit brighter, though, now that it’s got its windows back.

Had a nice email from LINK FM after my email yesterday telling them I wouldn’t be available for the broadcast this year. Loads of news about people I’ve not seen in ages, so I promised I’d pop down during their month on air and say hello to some familiar faces.

I called the insurance company as soon as I got to work to check whether my policy covers me for leaving my windows open (see yesterday’s entry) and was surprised to find it does - until Sunday at least. They’ve stuck a note on my file so I can make a claim if someone clambers in through one. I got home to find my windows painted shut, though, so I needn’t have bothered. From the look (and smell) of things, they seem to have done all six flats in the block, so they can’t have rubbed down any of the paintwork before slapping on the new coat.
