Well, my come home and go to bed early plan paid off and in spite of the ice on the car and the cold cold air I made it to the gym this morning. Admittedly it was only in time to watch the 8 o’clock news so I wasn’t hyper-early, but it’s better than I did on Monday, when I reverted to my pre-Christmas evening trips.

Paul agrees that the sudden popularity is most likely everyone feeling post-Christmas fat-guilt and signing up as a New Year resolution. With any luck they’ll have trailed off my February.

Work was fairly ordinary. This buggy software I’ve been testing it getting more irritating by the hour. Not only does it crasy every half hour, but it sucks up system resources like mad, so you have to shut down everything else while you’re running it. I’m putting that down to it being pre-production, but it’s irritating nonetheless.

Finally started doing things with my rawlinson.info domain today and installed a bulletin board. The idea was to use the site to track other Rawlinson people around the world, but I reckon it’s going to be slow going. Still, with a catchy domain that will probably only ever be visited by people with that name it has a better chance than most.

Worked late sorting out tomorrow evening’s show, which is thankfully fully booked. I’m stalled a bit with the round-the-world show that’s being planned for next week. I’d hoped to have completed to guest list by now, but there’s a few gaps in the route still to fill yet. Australia and South Africa are currently causing the biggest headaches.
