Up, showered, shaved, dressed and loaded washing into the machine before the breakfast show call, which I consider pretty impressive. The call went OK. We’d originally planned to talk about PocketPC, but details about that are pretty sketchy at the moment, so I was glad we spent more time on gadgets and miniaturisation instead.

In light of my poor gym attendence this week I had a healthy food day. Salad for lunch, and a bunch of grapes mid-afternoon. Leek pasta and more salad in the canteen before the show. I had planned to go for a swim after the show, but events conspired against me again and I ended up giving Steve a lift home so he could write his quiz.

I think we did a good show this evening. Very lively, and I think it held together OK. We did get a grotty email asking whether Gordon actually knew anything about technology, which considering he is one of PCW’s best freelances was a little surprising. The guests were good, and we had a couple of callers with rather tough questions, which were a bit of a challenge, but I think we gave a few suggestions they could try.

Gordon was talking about his week in Iceland before the show. Sounds like he had a fantastic time. I want to go there more than ever now. Perhaps a long weekend…
