It’s very hot today. Too hot to be doing jobs, but there were bags to pack, carpets to hoover and cups and plates to wash.
I’ve squeezed all of my clothes into my gym bag, on the logic that if I lived out of it for two weeks on the TGVs I can manage a week in a hotel and a car without too many problems. Of course, France was hot, and while the temperature here is 25C it’s 11C and rainy in Iceland today, so I’ve packed more jumpers and jeans than t-shirts and shorts.
If it comes to it I’ll spend the week sitting in hot springs, sipping tea from a steaming mug.
We shall see.
