Plug-in and go
A quiet day in the office. Hardly anyone in, what with people off in Ireland (the trip I was supposed to be on) and working from home. I like it that way. You can just plug yourself into your music and get on with things.
Such a changeable sky - grey when I got up, sunny all morning, raining hard when I went out for Revels mid-afternoon, spitting on the way home.
I spent twenty minutes finally skimming the book contract and found a worrying clause that I would indemnify the publishers against any legal action launched against them as a result of anything I write in the book that turns out to be factually incorrect, which is an unusual reversal of magazine contracts. It’s normally up to the publisher to take responsibility for this, so I’ll have to check it before putting ink on the line.
Not that I intend to make any mistakes.
