Hmmm… it’s eleven. I started to write this at eight. Then made dinner, did two loads of washing and got into filling in mortgage applications online before spotting that three hours had passed.
I had started to write it in French, kind of inspired by all those French people who write their blogs in English (or of course Stina who writes her very amusing English blog from Iceland), but didn’t get beyond the 111 word point, and even then it was starting to fall to bits towards the end:

As a non-English native it’s interesting to see how you deal with verb inflection and the gender of nouns. By don’t worry, your text is perfectly understandable, at least for someone who isn’t either French or British.
