These things really exist. Apparently.

Lunch today, talking flat design with a couple of German friends. They live in a snazzy block that was designed in accordance with a set of concepts akin to feng shui. The walls are all very precise proportions, and the block is built in a C-shape, with the open side pointing north to catch all the positive vibes.

The real magic, though, happens in the basement, where two sealed capsules are filled with water from the source of a river. The pipes that carry mains water to the taps around the block run close by these tanks, and pick up the magic vibes - over the air - which they then distribute around the apartments.

Flowers are brighter. The water is softer, and there’s no need to buy Evian any more.

I must book a dental appointment.
