The change in the weather today is amazing. Freezing cold, and very very windy. For the first time, too, I have noticed the evening is darker. We’ll probably be in deepest winter when we get back from holiday. I went round to mum’s to pick up the food and milk I had forgotten yesterday, then weathered the storm at Paul’s where we watched a Jonathan Creek we both vaguely remembered. I’m home now; my storage heaters are on, and my water bottle is hot.
