Wings

We’ve all been working double-speed today, thanks to a generous crate of Red Bull that arrived in the post this morning.
Everyone who saw it said something about it giving you wings.
So I guess that’s a successful slogan.
Anyhoo, that aside it was a strange day. A Thursday, mentally, but according to the calendar a definate start-of-week Monday. Dad went home this morning, which meant him catching the tediously, embarassingly slow train to London. We dawdled in the general direction of the city and then sat around in Bow looking down at the cars zizzing past at high speed. I bet he can’t wait to get back to France where they decide on a timetable at the start of the year and then actually follow it.
I’m getting itchy feet again. Everyone in Chelmsford seems to be on holiday - mostly sunny places where they’re doing nothing but sitting on beaches drinking while I sit in an office, erm… drinking. I’m thinking maybe Poland in April, if it isn’t entirely frozen.
Maybe by April I’ll have changed my mind.
