A very Christmasy day. Cleared the admin bits first thing, then retreated to the lounge with Christmas cookies, coffee and presents to wrap. Switched on the digital radio and flicked between Life and Core for the next three hours. Far more relaxing than being at work.
I didn’t realise quite how long the wrapping was going to take, and I had a break in the middle to do aa quick interview for the News Channel. They wanted someone to talk about a Windows XP security breach, so I had a read up then did it by phone. It lasted about five minutes, but in the end only one sentence made it to air in the rendition I heard. Perhaps it was re-edited and played in a different form the rest of the day.
Paul had been in town all morning doing his last bits of Christmas shopping, so I caled him to see if he fancied popping around for lunch, after which we went to Sainsbury’s and I picked up all the bits I’d forgotten to get on Wednesday. Most of what I’d wanted then and they’d not got they still didn’t have. I guess deliveries get fewer and further between during the holidays.
We went our separate ways when we came back, but met up again at half seven to go to the gym. I ran 5.5km and feel all springy again. I only managed it because I’d changed all the music on my HipZip.
I’ll probably regret it tomorrow.
