Guy Kewney once told me that I should envy him because I’ll never earn as much money as he does.

This is not Guy Kewney

The funniest clip of the day has to be the cabbie the BBC interviewed about the Apple v Apple court case, thinking he was said Kewney. Kewney, who is white, bearded and has no discernible accent, was apparently sitting in BBC reception watching on the monitors as his name was spread across the screen in front of a live interview of a black, clean shaven and French-sounding taxi driver who had apparently been grabbed from the foyer, miced up and thrown onto a studio stool before he knew what was going on.
The look on his face when they introduce him as Kewney is priceless. To give him his due, though, he does have a good stab at answering the questions they throw at him, as can be seen in this clip.

In other news, I travelled into work sitting beside one of my radio heroes this morning: Martha Kearney, who was preparing some notes for A Good Read and apparently had some concerns about one of the books.

At one point she turned and spoke to me, unfortunately only so that she could ask me to let her out for the loo.
