Innsbruck

The second picture of the small stream I’m publishing from the trip we took last month is this one of Innsbruck, around lunchtime, seen from the top of Patscherkofel (2246m). We rode up most of the way on the cable car and climbed the last 300m for this fantastic view, then spent the whole afternoon walking back down through the forests of pines and Christmas trees.

It was hard work, and it left us with aching legs for the next two days, but the peaceful countryside run through with narrow silver springs and dotted by tiny one-room churches was so relaxing the seven hours we were walking slipped by quite quickly.

We were in Innsbruck for our summer holiday in August - went to the ski jump arena and took some very lucky photos of a very young and very brave Austrian jumper- see them at the web sharing site ( your site is restricting the web address so hope you understand this; http://www.pbas(add an “e” to the end of that word and then .com/eiger).Hope this makes sense
