So the penultimate day of the week-long spam count brings in 871 new messages. If it carries on at this rate it’ll tip over 5,000 for the week by tomorrow evening, at which point it’s time to start looking for a new host with better spam filtering. So much for the assumption that most spammers work Monday to Friday. Today tops the week, although rather than hawking mortgages and viagra, most of them this time around were trying to sell Macromedia and Microsoft software at 25% of retail price.

Aah, well you see I use Safari on my Mac and Firefox on my PC so popups aren’t a problem for me. It’s months since I last had an unexpected ad take over the screen. You really should switch.
